Star Tyres Was Founded in 1994
Star Tyres was established in January 1994 with the acquisition of Hollis Tyres in Maitland and Storey and Veall in Woodstock. It is an owner managed family business controlled by Michael Gerhardi who has been in the tyre industry for 36 years.
Hollis Tyres, established in 1948, was well known in the tyre business in Cape Town for many years and had a reputation for good customer service and value for money. We are proud to say that we have maintained this tradition and have many regular customers who continue to use our services.

Star Tyres 30-Day Account Facilities
We run a fully computerized invoicing system which allows us to build up a history of work done on any vehicle.
We offer strict 30-day account facilities and our month closes on the last working day of the month. Statements will reach you by the 1st of the month.
We are also contracted to all fleet management companies and accept credit cards.
