Under-inflated tyres can create excessive heat and stress that can lead to tyre failure. To get more mileage out your tyres make sure they are always at the optimal pressure.
Check your Owner's Manual for advice on tyre rotation and have it done at the recommened interval. This will assure that your tyres, as well as some driveline components, will last longer.
Potholes can knock your tyre pressure down. Even if there's no vibration after an impact and the tyre and wheel look intact, the impact of the pothole can temporarily break the seal of a tyre, causing a sudden loss of some pressure. Regularly check Tyre Pressure.
